Walter Peters

Walter Peters, 71, of Red Bank, passed away on September 1, 2017 at Riverview Medical Center.   He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Kalor Tipton and Eleanor (Melowski) Peters.   Walter was a huge Civil War buff.  He proudly served our country in the US Navy from 1969 to 2003. 

He is predeceased by his wife Carol Ann Peters.   Surviving is his sister Eleanor and her husband Robert Liland, his niece Kelly Clark and her husband Greg and their children, Kaitlyn and Emily, his nephew David Liland and his children Nathan and Zachary.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 4-8 p.m.  A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11a.m. at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.
