Susan Lukacs Dean 49, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home in Middletown, New Jersey. She was born in New Brunswick to the late Elmer and Shirley (Pataky) Lukacs.

Susan enjoyed and treasured life and family more than anything and she was a kind and caring soul to many. Susan’s love for her family extended into her community where she spent countless hours giving of her time and talents. Susan and her family are communicants of St. Leo the Great Church in Lincroft.

Susan is predeceased by her parents and her brother Michael Lukacs. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael R. Dean and her loving children William, Alexandra Rose and Patrick. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Beth Francis (William) of Caribou, ME, Judith Lukacs of Baltimore, MD, and Barbara Smith (Michael) of Westford, MA., her mother and father in-law Carol and Roland Dean of Cherry Hill, NJ., her sisters in law Kelly Hullihan (John) of Cherry Hill, NJ., and Rosalie Lukacs of Brooklyn.
She was a beloved aunt to her adoring nieces and nephews Sean, Danny, Michael, Lucas, Bradley, Courtney, Susan, Paul, Mara, Alexandra, Peter, Julia, and grandnephew Luca.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leo the Great RC Church in Lincroft on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. Cremation will be private.
