Elaine, I was sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I had many happy memories of the Little Lakes Lines during my Friday Night visits. I cannot thank you enough for opening your home to a bunch of train nuts.

I spoke with Roy several months ago when he called to say that you were moving and that he was taking down the Little Lakes Lines. He spoke of starting a model train club at your new location and I invited him to see our new location and that he could use it as a starting point for his new club.

Elaine, if there is anything that the club can do to help you in your time of need, please contact me and I will see that the members are there to help. You notice how I volunteered the others, but not me. I am having a knee replacement on the Monday and that will tie my up for a few months.

Again my sincere sorrow for your loss.

Our heartfelt condolences to Elaine and family. We want you to know that our musical community will be forever saddened by the loss of Roy Everett. His dedication to Albert Music Hall was profound. Every musician wants to perform there. It is because of the way that we are welcomed into this special place. There is something wonderful going on here. Roy and Elaine have the place running like a well maintained engine. Their hard work, dedication and sincere love of what the organization stands for is always apparent.
We hope we can make you proud and keep the professional standards you have always set and required of everyone involved. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will always miss you, Roy.

The Hall will never be the same without your smiling face. I was shocked and sadden to hear that you passed on. You will be missed by a lot of friends and musicians alike.
Maybe we will meet again someday in the big roundup in the sky.

Elaine,
I can't tell you how shocked and saddened I am to learn of Roy's passing. I can't find the words to either convey my feelings for Roy or to find words of solace for you and your sons. Just know I will hold Roy in my heart for the kindness and friendship he always showed me; my life has been forever enriched by him.

I send you and your family my sincerest condolences and pray God will give you all the strength to endure this sorrowful time.

In deepest sorrow,

Steve Kempf

Your spirit will never ever leave the Hall, you kept the hall going like a well oiled rail road, with all the stops, tussles, and bumps along the way. You are a true professional, getting to know you and Elaine, and the love and dedication you have for each other has been such an honor and privilege. I know that you will be missed every day, but especially on Saturday's when we enter those halls, each note played, each hotdog made we will be thinking of you. We promise to "DO YOU PROUD" .. Keep a watch over us, give us a "hint from heaven" when we get out of line.. lol.. and know that we love you. thank you for your example, your intelligence, your love and most just being "Roy". You will be missed my fellow Volunteer, but never ever forgotten.

Roy was a wonderful very giving person. He always had a smile and a kind word for the numerous musicians that came by to play. He was Albert Hall and finding a replacement with as much dedication will be difficult. God speed. Heaven gained a good one.
