Pamela Nye Llewellyn

November 22, 1962 ~ April 21, 2024 (age 61) 61 Years Old

Tribute

Beloved wife, mother, sister, and “Mimi”, 61

Pamela Nye Llewellyn, 61, of Little Silver, NJ was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, April 21st.
She was the devoted wife of Patrick Llewellyn and mother to their two cherished sons: Patrick II
and his wife Rachel of Denver, CO, and Walker and his fiancé Tracy McCann of Boulder, CO.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, the late Richard and Nancy Erickson. Pam was an
adored sister to Richard Erickson and his wife Jean of Tequesta, FL and sister Wendy Johnson
and husband David of Brielle, NJ. She was a devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren,
Patrick III and Cassidy. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Born on November 22nd, 1962, Pam graduated from Wall High School, where she met her
girlfriends affectionately known as “The Core”, who remained lifelong friends. Pam graduated
from Rider College with a Bachelor of Science and Commerce degree. Soon after graduation,
she met her husband, Patrick and quickly knew he was the love of her life. Pam and Pat got
married in 1986 in Sea Girt, NJ. Patrick Jr. was brought into their lives, followed soon after by
Walker. In her 30’s, Pam followed her Mom’s career and became a full time teacher. She
attended Kean University at night and obtained her teacher’s certification in Spanish.

Pam subsequently taught Spanish to middle and high school students for over 20 years, most
recently at Ocean Township High School. She truly loved her job, faculty, and her students. Pam was an empathetic teacher who had a particular fondness for finding creative ways to reach her students and make school fun (something that she learned from her mother, the person who Pam admired the most in her life). She was creative and caring, spotting students who needed special attention and taking them under her wing.

Above all else, Pam valued family, friends, and fun. She was a proud mother, who encouraged
her children to be adventurous and live out their dreams. She and her husband Pat made the
most of every moment together with weekly lunch and dinner dates, countless hours spent at
the beach, and trips to San Diego, Colorado, and Cape May. They always fit in fun adventures
and weekend getaways. Lovingly referred to as “Mimi”, she loved nothing more than spending
time embracing and inspiring her grandchildren, Patrick III and Cassidy.

Pam was a true Jersey Girl at heart, with a love for Bruce Springsteen, Vic’s Pizza with her
family, and the beach. She always maintained strong friendships connecting with people at
CrossFit, teaching, and in her neighborhood. She had a passion for all things nature –
especially her dogs, birds, trees, gardening, and the ocean.
