Kathryn G. McGill

Kathryn G. McGill 91, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her home in Middletown. She lived in Massachusetts until moving to Middletown in 1982.

She was born in Scarsdale, NY to the late Ambrose Gallagher and Elizabeth Corcoran.

Kathryn graduated from St Joseph’s College in Emmetsburg, MD., and retired as a Medical Technologist in Asbury Park. Kathryn was a former member of Serenity Retreat League in Sterling, NJ. She was a former parishioner of St. James Church and currently attends St. Anthony’s.  Kathryn enjoyed golf, bocce, and was an avid knitter.

Kathryn was predeceased by her loving husband Francis J. McGill in 1996, her brother William and her sister Elizabeth.  She is survived by her beloved daughter Kathryn E. McGill and many nieces and nephews.

 A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. A service will follow at the funeral home at 12 Noon. A burial at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown will follow.  

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Kathryn’s name to St. Mary’s Residential Training Center, P.O.  Box 7768, Alexandria, VA. 71306.
