I just found the tribute today that Mr. Schlapkohl read at my father's (Robert D. Walrath - DuPont) service back in 1997. Then I searched and learned of his passing.

John will be remembered for his love of life and love for family. His steadfast faith served as a steady light for others. His sweet cards for birthdays and holidays (complete with poems and colorful drawings) will be deeply missed. Heartfelt condolences to John's entire family during this time.

I just found this on Firefox. Thank you Bob and Kathy, for your tribute towards my father. He didn't really draw though, he did highlight. He was a wonderful man, and devoted and loving husband to his two wives, and kind and caring father of his four children. Love always, Maria E. Huffman
