Joan Conroy Castaneda

Joan Conroy Castaneda, 69, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Freehold. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Joan was the daughter of the late Donald F. Conroy and Grace (Minton) Conroy.
   Joan was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. She is survived by a son Michael and his wife Lindsay; a daughter Colleen Castaneda; a brother Jim and his wife Kathy Conroy; and two sisters Patty and her husband Ed Schlitzer, and Nancy and her husband Tom Lopes. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Morgan, Cameron and Kelsey Castaneda and several nieces and nephews.
   A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of John E. Day Funeral home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701.
