Gregory Falconetti

Gregory Falconetti, 68, passed away on September 7, 2017 at his home in Greenacres, Fl.
He was born in Jersey City to the late Vincent James and Gertrude (Ennis) Falconetti. He lived in Long Branch, West Long Branch and Middletown before settling with his family in West Palm Beach after his retirement in 2009.

Gregory was a 1967 graduate of Red Bank Catholic. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp in the Vietnam Veterans War from 1967 to 1969. He was a Switchman and in later years a ticket agent for the NJ Transit for 36 years before retiring. He was a communicant of Saint Anthony’s of Red Bank, he was a member of the Elks, Moose, VFW and the TCU for 36 years.

Gregory is survived by his loving wife Irma of 43 years, his sister Connie Falconetti, His beloved sons Gregory, Vincent and his stepson Arthur Sears; his step daughters Christine and Michelle Sears.  Also, his adoring grandchildren Ethan, Ellie, Leaisha Sanchez and Erica Sanchez and a great-grandchild Leon Doviw.

A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ, on Thursday September 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Gregory’s name to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave. West Palm Beach, Florida, 33407.
