Eleanora Bell

Eleanora Bell(nee Iadarola) 102 years old, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2017 at Regency Park Rehabilitation  and Nursing Center in Hazlet, NJ where she had been living for the past few years.

Eleanora was born in Newark on July 30, 1915 to Antonia (Marino) and Joseph Iadarola.  She also lived in Kearny, Summit and Lakewood NJ.  She was one of seven children who have all passed except for her sister, Mary Bozza of Lincroft, NJ.

Eleanora was a hairdresser for many years and worked at Gubleman’s Paper Company, where she met her husband Joseph Bell.  She also worked for Prudential Insurance Company in Newark.

Besides her sister Mary, she is survived by 14 nieces and nephews, their spouses and their many children and grandchildren most of whom considered her the favorite or fun aunt.

In her final years, Eleanora had several loving aides, especially Iwona Myslikowski, and the caring staff of Regency Park.  Eleanora was easy to love and will be missed by us all.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Leo the Great R.C. Church, Lincroft. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Eleanora’s name to a charity of your choice.
