Bella Piscopo Ryan

Bella Marie Ryan 91, passed away on October 28, 2017 in Wall Township.  She was born in Jersey City to the late Guiseppe Piscopo and Giovanina “Jennie” Maffeo.

Bella was a communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in South Amboy and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.  After raising her children, she went to work for her dear friends The DeRisi family at  “Mr. Dees” and also worked at “The Deli” in Sayreville.

Bella is predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years Francis G. Ryan, her brother and sister –in-law Anthony and Rose Piscopo, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Albert Pafford, her son –in-law Philip Boragine, Jr., brother-in-law Louis Donato and her nephews Joseph Piscopo and John Leone.

She is survived by her loving children Kevin and Gail Ryan of Souderton, PA.,John and Karen Ryan of Howell, Bella and Chris Grevesen of  Tinton Falls, and Joan Boragine of  Lehigh, Florida. She is also survived by her sister Louise Donato and her nine loving grandchildren who brought her great joy: Meghan, Nathanael, Michael, Kara (Michael Collins) ,Jessica (Daniel Roth), Kristen (Clayton Bott-Wentworth), John  David, Katie and Philip. Bella is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
