John W. Dupree

John W. “Jack” Dupree, 72, passed away on April 15, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway.  He was born in Long Branch to the late Bernard and Genevieve Dupree.  John was a member of the Old First United Methodist Church in West Long Branch where he was a choir member.

He is predeceased by his two brothers, Bernard A. Dupree II, and Bradley D. Dupree.  Surviving are his two daughters; Jeanne Dupree and Patrick Byrne and Shari and Bill Miller; his brother, Paul D. Dupree, sister in law; Ann Dupree and his cat, Cleo.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM with a service beginning at 4 PM.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in John’s memory to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ  07724.  Please visit John’s memorial website available at www.johnedayfuneralhome.com.
