Jess E. Jordan

Jess E. Jordan, 96, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel.   He was born in Bayonne to the late Wilber and Anna Jordan.  He proudly served our country in the US Army during World War II.  Jess was a member of the Middletown Republican Club, the Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County, Jordan Car Club, Studebaker Driver’s Club and AACA.

He is predeceased by his son; William Joshua Jordan and his brother, Raymond Jordan.  Surviving is his loving wife of 68 years, Margaret McDonough Jordan, his daughters; Mary Alice Goss and Carol and her husband Thomas Anderson, his 5 grandchildren; Thomas, Jess, and Matthew Anderson and Christopher and Kathryn Goss and his 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 3 to 7 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James RC Church in Red Bank on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:15 AM.  Interment will follow at Mt.
